First you need to set the zero point by pressing the button on the electrical panel. Subsequently, by moving the piston, the laser beam measures the distance separating it from the piece. The measured data is displayed in real time both on a digital screen mounted on the portal and on a smaller screen positioned on the electrical panel. By comparing the values ​​measured by the laser device, it is possible to check whether the sheet metal is perfectly straight or to identify points that require further processing.
