Customized 150-ton Hydraulic Press for Industrial Punching

We recently created a specialized and customized version of our standard PCL 150 A model, a 150-ton C-frame hydraulic press, designed and optimized to meet our client's needs, enabling the same press to perform both punching and industrial stamping operations.

Advanced Engineering Against Water Hammer

Intensive punching operations generate strong hydraulic stresses and sudden pressure surges, known as water hammer. To ensure maximum longevity and structural reliability of the machine under continuous stress, our technical division has engineered a substantial modification to the cylinder assembly: the hydraulic cylinder base has been reinforced with a high-strength screw fastening system.

This construction solution prevents structural failure and absorbs the hydraulic shocks resulting from the rapid shearing of materials, ensuring high and consistent performance over time.

Integrated Safety in the Work Area

Operator safety is a primary requirement in all our projects. For this special version of the PCL 150 A, we have implemented the following combined work area protection system:

• Extended side protection barriers: positioned horizontally on the sides of the structure for a length of 550 mm each, they physically prevent accidental access or entry of a second operator from the rear or side area during work cycles.

• Double safety button control: the pressing cycle is activated exclusively by simultaneous two-hand control with a microswitch for automatic cylinder ascent and return.
